Ready for a change especially as it relates to forced servitude when it comes to buying health insurance (and not necessarily even being able to afford the healthcare that it supposedly provides). Further opening up competition and tackling tort reform and other actual causes of runaway costs would be a good start. Single payer would be another bureaucratic one-size-fits all boondoggle, so I'm not convinced that will be a positive move forward (not likely to have a chance with the GOP in control anyway). I know how progressives like to point to all the "wonderful" healthcare systems overseas and to our north, but the studies are selective in what they unveil. For example, waiting three or more months to see a specialist for a serious medical condition sounds like a drag. Offering catastrophic insurance that doesn't cover everything under the sun PLUS an HSA would be another way forward.

Immigration controls are also a smart thing. Destabilizing and unfettered immigration from Islamist countries (in addition to some with heavy gang activity, i.e. El Salvador) that the Ds were promising was another reason they were resoundingly defeated. The Republican Chamber of Commerce will have a hard time getting away with any collusion with the Ds in continuing to push for high levels of immigration. The mainstream media hasn't learned that this vote was born out of a concern for national livelihood, so they've already started the "racist" and "sexist" narrative.

All that muttering about heightened regulation (and a de facto neutering) of the 2nd Amendment also likely got people into high gear in the booth yesterday.

Finally, the last thing Barry's presidency will be remembered for is transparency, as Wikileaks has so painfully proven. I can only hope that Trump won't forget that since he benefited greatly from its lurid expose of the corrupt Clinton machine, and if he really wants to look like a good guy, offer a pardon to both Snowden and Assange.

As an aside, Mike Pence is a refreshingly classy dude (Trump's inverse?) and such a breath of fresh air over Joe Bite Me and Hilary's running mate.

Trump is extremelly clever and has a vision, gotta give him credit for that.... Nearly hard to belive he decided to run for President only 3 years ago and now he accomplish that titanical mision.. The only way to explain his meteoric rise and the millons of people who voted a billonaire who didnt pay taxes for years and years and went bankrupt not 1 but 4 times, is that the other option was even worse.. He is proven an unethical bussiness man (but clearly capable of make lots and lots of money) .. If he has the same unethical attitude as a President, well, sky is the limit.


On his first speach, he is now negotiating rather than confrontating.. Letīs see how it goes and if his supporters will like his now truly political side, very different of his confrontative attitude along the whole campaing which obviously gave him result. No more words, now itīs time to act. In the practice, i dont personally believe he will do all the things he said.. One thing is have a populist speach and other very different is do all that stuff that sounds good for people hopeless with regular politicians.


Kinda redundant but the world is going through tremendous social changes ... Changes arent good or bad so lets see how it goes at least next 4 years.

We are probably going to lose the great barrier reef. 4 years with a reversal on climate change activity should do it. It is in big trouble now. The world is going to suffer for this not just America.

In fact most of his policies are incredibly damaging to the rest of the world.

Just an idea , when our shit PM killed of our climate council , we crowdfunded it. And we give a monthly donation. It's been very successful ,they work really hard for us .
