Desyn would be probably doing something really different nowaday.

Yes, it's like he left it, but I don't know why. He will play in Brooklyn in a couple of days.

Tom was always great, but imagine that sound today, it's also really outdated
Describing music , particularly good music as "outdated" is a totally foreign concept to me.

Well, sounds very romantic and I would love to feel like you.
In electronic music everything evolves very fast. I'm not saying that old stuff isn't good, far from that, but specially that kind of DJs like Tom, that 10 years ago used to play (in many cases), unreleased stuff made in bedrooms with plugins with beautiful creativity but limited knowledge.

Not in a derogative way, but it's obvious how the sound evolve thru the time.
The sound, the techniques, the melodies, the compositions and specially one as a human are undeniable different IMHO.

If I play today a Tom mix from 2008, I get half the connection or less than I used to do.

Yeah, I consider myself very, very lucky to feel the way I do about music.

This is all true but different doesn't have to mean lesser. To steal a saying, it's all part of an incredible tapestry To me lesser is mp3

We are in XXI century and with almost unlimited storage capacity everywhere. 320Kbps should be minimum quality out there.
