From listening to the previews it sounds to me like both CDs start off slower and build to a faster pace by the end. Pretty excited for this release, his last balance is still one i play a lot

In what way ? With the balance series you also get the single tunes as a download so basically it's two for one and at least unlike just owning mp3/wav you still have something to show for it.

I often buy cd comps, extracting compressed flac files and throwing them on the MP3 player
Sounds excellent

@Chris a while ago, think it was a tape rip ? you posted a set that you said that had bad sound quality, I think it was a tape rip, can you remember what it was ? and if you can will you point me in the direction of it ?

reason I ask is I've got new software that is supposed to fix these things to a certain degree and I think this might be the perfect test for it.
