I know we've been making alot of feedback and suggestions so just want to take a moment and thank the team for making these tweaks, this is why [ms] is the community it is. (BTW just noticed the text description for the smileys are white and difficult to read as well, same previous issue with the search box)

use FF and just zoom the page to 300% lol

I think I just fixed the IE8 problems with the index. The page should load right away now, instead of the 30-60 second hang time. Let me know if anybody still sees any issues, or if you see that it's fixed now.

I got rid of something that was doing a heavy db query. it impacted all browsers, just IE8 got hit the most

The search function works really bad. I can't search for two keywords. I tried for example digweed matter, titles only search, and the results don't include both keywords. It gives me all digweed and all matter threads. If I check "search type: forums", I get nothing.
It used to be good.

I am aware that is not that important after this huge seamless change to the forum but I was wondering ...

Last time I saw it, it had layout and other problems so that's postponed for now.

A forum-wide option to hide the Thank Yous in a post would be nice too if we rather not get caught up in the whole rep mentality again, plus the 'thank yous' interrupt the flow of a thread.

This! Other than the "Thanks" feature the board looks amazing and is easy to use. It might be nice to have the smilies available on the quick reply as it's an extra step to get to them in the "Go Adance".

Oh..and LOL at Jenks a few pages back! He thanked almost every post on one page!
