Umek's 2009 stormer "Slap" got the remix treatment via a Beatport competition, and we are happy to unleash the three winning versions!
First up are Acida Corporation from Italy who shake and tumble their way through a swinging, yet menacing affair. Elio Ks offers a more percussive approach utilizing all of the original's grittiness, and closing up the package is Israel's Sheff, who goes for a more uplifting vibe while keeping the craziness coming throughout the track.
All of this for a good cause of course, as Umek and 1605 donated the proceeds from the remix stems sales to Japanese earthquake and tsunami relief efforts.
