Re: S&D - NE1 - It was 20 years ago today

life changing comp....purchasing both cd & vinyl editions plus the extra tracks. It took me almost a year to complete, and then spent endless hours in my basement trying to mix some of them....total failure:-)

Re: S&D - NE1 - It was 20 years ago today

I started collecting the tracks myself, too bad I gave up.

Re: S&D - NE1 - It was 20 years ago today

Drum Club/Guerilla/Hardkiss were easy to find....the real pain in the ass was tracks like Satellite Serenade/Dope on Plastic.

The Orb remix has always been pricey, it's on white or blue vinyl, I don't remember. The ambient mix of I Am Free is expensive too.

Those (legendary) tables are in Northern Exposure II too, in the original 2CD Uk versions.

This begs the question... if there was only one record on the planet that you would want to have on a desert island... simply put.. it all ends here for me

This album made me fall in love with EDM

That's NE2. I pretty sure Cd 2 of NE1 was never released in the US.
