Not a compilation I will return to that often if I'm honest, there were only about 7 tracks across the 6 discs that I thought were any good, and two of them are over 20 years old each!

I really disliked Toyko too so that's 11 discs in a row that I thought were quite pedestrian. Strange really as Montreal, London, Brooklyn, Cordoba and Argentina were all really solid compilations

I think that his music works better in the club.

^^ I loved Tokyo as well but think this last night at output comp was awful.
surprised digs felt it was worthy of a release.

Tokyo is definitely one of his best comps and even Live in NYC may be better than this most recent Last Night at Output!

I think it was probably more the occasion that he wanted to commemorate? Last night of Output before it shut.

I don´t think this comp is between the best of the live in series, but good music anyways.
                                It´s a spiritual thing!

when i can get into it, i love this mix, but when it's commute/office music i don't really like it.

the point about the music working better in a club is spot on, his music really needs to be overwhelming for it to make sense to me.
