oxy contin is stronger then any heroien you get off the street with in turn means its stronger, if that shit was easy to get on the street i would be in big big trouble. i did coke for the first time last summer, and i think ifs fun, expesually at big emd parties but the way it makes me feel the day after is enough for me not to do it a lot.

Practice good judgement and even better caution before getting involved with anything that has the potential to grab hold and not let go, regardless of whether you think you're strong enough or not.

Yeah, but cost isn't the real issue imo. Take C for ex: very popular in the 80's even though the price back then was 4 to 8 times as high as now. And after a little break in the 90's its getting more popular by the week overhere.

The biggest threat is the lack of information or worse, disinformation regarding the drug. Neither parents nor potential users have a complete view on the drug and its use so the barrier to use meth is lower than for smack.

I mean, it's common knowledge that you're hooked on heroin in no time and that it only leads to two options: going through a hell kicking off or a trip via the gutter to certain death. Heroin is strongly associated with society's lowest of the low (just put Trainspotting in your DVD player again).

As for meth... Well, people are less informed about it. I have to admit that I had to look the effects and characteristics because I didn't have a clue of what it exactly was. Don't think I've come across it in the scene here... But I'll tell ya, after having read up on it, I'll carve my name in a bullet so that everyone will know I was the last thing that went to the head of the fucker who tries to pass me a freebie of that crap

That's how I'd react now. But if I'd be clueless and some punter tells me that the rush lasts longer than with C...

Prevention rather than repression, that's my point. Otherwise the only thing you're doing, is picking up the pieces when it's already too late...

Not to put a downer on it all, but this is the reality of what's going on. I think as long as we all talk about this stuff, and don't pretend it doesn't exist...we can save lives and, take care of each other in the process...
I can't preach the "don't do this, don't do that," but I do know that I have good friends that love me, and wouldn't ever let me get into that position. I hope that everyone here can say the same.

i don't get the appeal. i tried it once and stayed up for 2 days on like 2 bumps. what the hell would make anyone thing that this is a good thing. that one time let me know that it's pretty much the worst stuff you can have. just say no. nancy reagan was right. except for the 420.

wtf trying on a daily basis? ..already small doses keep u awake for at least 6-10h and causes heavy schizophrenia. its just so subtle that u don?t mention it at the beginning.

the problem is that it is quite easy consume and due to its effects (being hyper active and lasting longer than anything else) makes a "good" party drug.

My bro's ex-fiance started taking the Kiwi version during a "short" breakup they had and she's never come back...

Beautiful girl (model), honor student, Div 1 university 800 meter and mile runner, good surfer and skier, award winning equestrian (sp)...

Last he saw of her before he left NZ she was basically a 90 lb. fuck toy for a group of Maori drug dealers. Her family still calls him 2 years later to see if he has heard anything from her. Really sad.

Nothing was better for me than talking when (and still) going through the situation that's affecting someone close to me.

What a crazy topic... The ex decided to paint our driveway last night with Auto paint and to try and chop a tree down in our front yard.

That meth shit sucks, what a fucking waste... IMO if you do it you suck!!!

I have had 1 friend lost (dead) to heroin and another is out doing the hotel jump right now over crack... This shit destroys everything!

I sure wish I would have caught him last night!!!!!
