that sometimes happens at the start of a set if the dj cant hear the monitor properly or there are other technical difficulties. the dj can be too busy trying to get equipment to work to have time to mix...

I saw him in my hometown last year...he really rocked the place. One of the best Dutch DJ's around imo.
