tiesto is number 1 because hes a sellout!!.. thats what i think.. i mean great tracks u hear and u wont get tired of tiesto.. u hear it a couple of times and then u sick and tired of it.. sure he can be a great dj but IMO hes just goin mainstream to get the cash.. most of his original fan base isnt even there ne more.. im not bashing trance.. no way its what got me into prog and house but i think tiesto has forgotten his roots.. he used to be amazing back in the day.. .. now hes just tiesto..
IMO there are far better djs out there that deserve the #1 dj spot. for sure :wink:

Tiesto was good once, i remeber seeing him about 2 and half years ago, he worked the crowd well.

Musically he sucks though.

I really am not a fan of Tiesto the past few years especially. I used to like Oakie early to mid 90's. But both of these guys seem to churn out the same crap year after year now. But my main issue with these two is their persona on stage. I like it when a dj is into what they are doing and reacts to the crowd and interacts with them. But Tiesto especially appears to be so full himself it makes me sick.

Tiesto has some good tunes, and he can mix well on 2 tables...not too technical... and I do think he plays some cheesy stuff, but he's number one for a reason... people like that shit!
