Cookie is not his name.. he has made parties with John Digweed, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Dave Seaman, Desyn Masiello, Derek Howell, Carl Cox, Seb Fontaine, Nick Warren, Tini Tun, Cass, Chris Fortier, Sean Cusick, etc, etc and he produced festivals like Aca World Sound Festival, Ying Yang & Time and Space.. you can check out his page: www.ce-ro.com and there u'll notice the set oj Jimmy Van M @ Pink in Mexico from de 31st of August it's true!!

Thanks for the background info, kinda starting to make sense. However, are you saying Jimmy Hung out in Mexico City from August 31 to Sept 9 just to play a back yard bbq party?

no no, its most likely the afterparty from a night in Mexico City at Cookie's house. The afterparties in Mexico City with the good DJ's are always very damm good.
I miss them actually

Re: Jimmy Van M live after @ Cookie?s house before get him to the airport 09.09.2006

I don't think Jimmy would allow someone to record him while he's wrecked and fucking up all the mixes. That's not good marketing/PR...

if you want to hear some genuine and genuinely stunning JVM, check out the hour or so of his buenos aires recent set on his website. absolutely perfect -- sounds like the JVM of 2000

Hmm the website is down?

Re: Jimmy Van M live after @ Cookie?s house before get him to the airport 09.09.2006

Faker than Pammy's tits.... Either JVM is 5 months behind and stuck in a timewarp on the tunes front (doubtful) or this isn't him....

May bee he'd been playing at a club before and he had already played all his newer tunes and didn't want to play them all again. So he played what he had left.
