Because water alone, does not have what it takes to restore electrolytes and certain vitamins that have been diminished after strenuous activity or a hard night out. The makers of Gatorade figured that out a long time ago..Adding vitamins to water to give you a boost of the vitamin that you need is a good idea..Not the vest source for vitamins, but it seems to give you a boost..Not something I would rely on for my daily intake of vitamins, but after a hard night out, potassium is crucial, as well as B vitamins..Plus, these are tasty as hell

I bought one of these back in April of '06 and have been stocking up the garage fridge. It's good stuff and not a bad price over at Costco. Lemonade and Revive are my favorites.
