if the government really wanted to garner back some support, they would waive the stupid taxes on the gas for a month or two. shit, the tax is almost a buck in itself.

In the UK we are nearing ?1 per litre! Not far off the ?5 gallon! So that would make it about $8.50-$9 a gallon I think.
