^^^^complete tossers in my opinion, http://www.myspace.com/joeyporsche << more here.. a whole thread of good laughs on 4four.org

as far as beatport, the top 10 is the top 10 for a reason, everyone is buying those tracks.. mp3 shopping is very similar to vinyl shopping, you need to dig, find the obscure gems.. go back a few months, years whatever.. true anyone a with a computer and some software can put together a track and form a lable and "release" it, but the good established labels arent going to put out crap are they?
nothing has changed, finding amazing choons should be difficult, makes it more worth while when you find them

You must have clicked on the electro house section by accident
If you are will to dig a bit and maybe listen to a few artist you don't recognize
you find some hidden gems, granted it is a bit of worked but you can always
      go back to buying records.

And btw, it's not supposed to be easy to find the sick tuneage. Same as it's always been, dig dig dig.

most of the stuff i've bought off beatport are old releases i couldn't get on vinyl until labels put their back catalog up digitally.

        F the top 10.
Jenks you are completely on point

how much longer do you think vinyl will hold out though? so many lables are switching to digital only releases cause its cheaper...

its been so long since i bought a record i don't even know who the major lables are who are still cranking out the wax.

lets take guesses as to how long before there are no more (or very few) lables doing vinyl only releases.

most of my favorite labels are vinyl only, and a lot of them i don't see changing for awhile. not about the $$.

I do worry that vinyl will eventually just stop being available for ordinary guys like me. I can see the long term trends. That will be a really sad day...

It is very tedious sifting through all the crap. I look through every genre and probably get only 10 decent tracks a week. They label tracks pretty bad, progressive house is more just any track with a tribal beat.

^ lol at that guido shit
