Re: I'm quitting....
I smoke on and off and I actually find that the dreams do my head in, especially at first after stopping. I sometimes wake up and for a few moments are not sure what was the dream and what is reality..
I think there is no doubt that heavy use of the weed has a detrimental effect on you, particuarly motivation and memory. The problem is that you dont realise how much it effects you until u actually stop for a week or more...Leave a comment:

Re: I'm quitting....
steve i used to be a heavy heavy smoker of that shit, i quit, i had 2, spent 6 weeks in hospital with canabis phsycosis and a further 2 years of heavy medication, people think canabis is a safe drug but i can tell u that people who think that are completely mis informed, the trouble with that is that thc isnt broken down with the liver well so it gets stored in your body fat so it keeps building and building up till the point where ur totally intoxicated with thc, dangerous stuff m8, ur doing the right thing and good luck
Wow! You must have been quite the smoker!!!! I am firm beleiver that moderation is the key to EVERYTHING in your lifent . Dont over do it, and chances are you probably wont end up that way. I had no clue such a condition existed...but, I am happy that you were able to survive it.Leave a comment:

Re: I'm quitting....
you sound like a straight crackhead.I have not smoked for 3 years now. I am even more stupid now, and I now I can not stand all the world cunts. I wake up every morning drink coffee really fast and smoke two cigarettes and I get a buzz. I flip upside and come back up and it adds 30 seconds to the initial buzz.
Great stuff!Leave a comment:

Good to hear you're not a stoner anymore Stevo, maybe your sets will be less crappy from now on (kiddin').
And on the smokin': I've quit puffin' a good while ago after almost 15 yrs of that shit and to be honest I wouldn't even accept a pull if someone offered me a joint. Life sober is so much more interesting and exciting
You don't need weed, your dealer just needs the money.
Don't you just love dreaming again?
As for Pepsi: you mean the cola or the weed?Leave a comment:

Re: I'm quitting....
so after a couple delayed weeks, i finally managed to actually 'start' quitting. i'm on day 13 now and i've been sleeping so much better than when i was a full time toker. i've been reading books everyday (currently on Capote's 'In Cold Blood') and i feel a little better i guess. haven't noticed any major changes other than the wild and elaborate dreams i've been having. and actually remembering them when i wake up too. i have to admit, though, while giving up one vice i've gone back to old faithful: Pepsi. i just love it too much. plus being absolutely drug (and alcohol) free makes me need one vice. although i think this is a mental addiction more than physical.
whoever said "pot uses you" was definitely right. i've come to realise that could not be any more true. i won't quit smoking forever, but for now i needed to and that quote has helped me a lot.
so again, thank you everyone who contributed worthwhile advice.Leave a comment:

Re: I'm quitting....
so far 'dearly devoted' is good, but i liked the first one better. only one righteous murder has taken place in the first 100 pages of this one. although it is kind of funny in parts, i prefer more blood.Leave a comment:
