Sarcasm means that he didn't mean that we should actually invade the country; he was in fact harshly joking and thought the opposite - by showing how ridiculous it sounds to go invade a country over this, he was highlighting his disapproval of such past actions by the U.S. So really, he probably agrees with you.

i read it her punishment was originally 90 lashes, but her attorney wanted to get a stiffer penalty for the rapist, and when she spoke about the case publically she got 200.. makes perfect sense no?

If you could ask that woman who was raped and now is being punished for it, what do you think she would have to say about the respect that she is being given?

It is NEVER ok to "respect" gross violations of basic human rights, regardless of the culture.

fact - the sky is blue (well depending on whether or not you are color blind) but the color that the retina distinguishes after all other light is filtered out is blue.

fact - not everyone agrees with what the government does in their own country

fiction - my cat talks to me sometimes (only when taking acid - me not the cat, he can't take it anymore.)

the point is this - no one completely agrees with what everyone else does or says, whether it be our own government or anothers, or even what someone states on a forum that is to serve no other purpose than to say "Wow that's fucked up" and girl getting 200 lashes for being raped is "fucked up."
