saw him a few times several years ago, playing chi house. great times. then that thee glitz cd came out & saw him out playing electro mostly. but trainwrecked & couldnt get it together. wtf?

ah well, def. makes for a different artist, if thats where they are going with it.

I really really hope this is not true. Freeland's GU was not my type but i still thought it was a good change, but come on FTHC???

    oh dear!

guess all good things must come to an end.

but there really is no point flogging a dead horse.

they need to do what renaissance does. put out a commercial series to make some cash and then have the original line doing the business!

I think people are jumping the gun is this info is not even confirmed.

IMO, i can't see how GU would go with Felix, it's utter crap, his style and genre of music is so far from what GU releases are about.

I don't know but speaking of recent releases i thought that 31 was a pretty fair album....although i think 29 and 30 were both pretty shit.
As for Felix doing a G.U. similarly to almost all members of this board I am not optimistic....as for his production skill's he's virgo electro - blacktro or whatever it is called (the latest album) was crap even though it had o.k. reviews in the dj mag

So ... I am def not buying it (but then again I don't buy anything apart from my net connection)

He's one guy who needs Ableton
    Trainwreck phemon
Isn't GU about 6 years too late
catching on the so called electro fad.
The boxed boys must be on crack
especially when there so many great new DJ's
but of course they are smart and release their own
mixes on their own labels nowaday.

The remedy is simple - let Martin Garcia make a Mar Del Plata GU .. triple CD or give Rowan Blades a go.

    They were good but forgettable.

The last stunning GU-album was without doubt Miami.

They really need Howells to rescue the series.

Then again, why complain when there are many other great mix series out there like Balance.

Wouldn't matter if it is a different DJ, it'll probably get the same reaction on this board, GU has gone the way of Oakenfold, and BT. Nothing like pissing off a bunch of prog fans with shit releases
