i disagree with the notion that had they had the 8 or 9 players back they would have done more damage.. i think they played with so much heart and out of their minds because of the situation.. the match could have gone either way regardless who was on the pitch, thats just how Turkey played the whole tourny.

was really hoping to see Russia do Spain.. the youth and speed and against age (i mean experience) and power would have been a great final

Turkey was definitely a joy to watch!
Talk about retribution,, that left back had been abused all match, got owned on that 2nd Turkish goal.. and then comes down and creates a beautiful goal... ze Germans may not have deserved it, but twice Turkey scored and twice they let up afterwards and let Germany back in

What a let down the last quarter final game was besides the penalty shooting. Boring game as already stated here. One day left for Germany against the Turks..this should be fun tomorrow evening.

wanted to see Italy do it, but the better team obviously won.. Italy played or pk's from the start.

Spain v Russia definitely the better semi-final though IMO.. i think Russia has learned a lot from the 1st match of the tournament
