facebook is fantastic for the house scene in your area. local djs & promoters can send invites to massive amounts of people, create buzz for shows, all for free. its been a huge marketing tool. well, here at least...
I am definitely hooked on facebook...I rarely even look at my myspace anymore.
I agree that the apps are beyond annoying, but at least there is the block option now, so after one request, it stops you from getting them over and over.
