That being said, I was not aware that al-Qaeda's involvement in the 9/11 attacks was even questioned. I've heard all the conspiracy theories and seen the videos but I didnt think that bin laden's involvement was disputable.

So far the US government has failed to produce the evidence they said the would produce shortly after 9/11. Seven years latter we are still waiting. Personally i think Bin Laden will never be captured alive. He will either never be captured of killed and buried somewhere in secret. But one thing that wont bee happening. There will be no trial. And if I'm wrong on this someone please point me in the direction of the evidence.

For the ones who are supportive, the servicemembers appreciate this gesture. They don't seek it by any means, they are just doing a job. When the people of our country are supportive of us it means a lot. It sucks being put somewher in the middle of nowhere, for 6-15 months at a time. the ultimate payoff is seeing the progress.

See these people who protest are the same who would have been protesting during the conflict i Kosovo, but if you would have been at the same Kosovo independence day celebration that i was at out here.( alot of the contractor are Albanian) you would see how happy these people are that the coaliton and US stepped in to allow this to happen. I heard USA USA USA over and over and over by all of these Albanians. But everyone knows how evil the united states is, and what was done in Kosovo was a crime committed by the States. This should have never happened they had no right to do so blah blah blah whatever...( or at least thats what they would have been saying at the time)

Back on track. the support is appreciated, and as jacked up as our government is, I still love my country ( even though it is shit according to some people) hope this conflict's positive outcome is what makes news( but I know better than that)

Like I said before though, Nobody ever rememebrs when the US helps people( which is 10x more than any other country) All people ever do is point out the negative. I serve on behalf of the positive.
