i encouraged my gf to NOT get one and a year later she thanked me for it. too many girls (and guys) get stupid tattoos to simply have a tattoo (give me a break with the dragons and the japanese script). if you want something stained on your skin forever, ffs make it mean something.

Incidentally, when I was in with a friend that was getting a tattoo done, there was a gal there getting a large butterfly on the small of her back (although not quite like that one ). That's about as much pain as I've ever seen a person endure.

i have always thought a women's skin by itself was a beautiful thing, and to cover it up was just wrong. I like tats...but it's gotta be tasteful. When you start getting them around your crotch and tits and face...no thank you.
