philip is definitely one of my favorite djs. and i don't mean just a local favorite, but overall favorite.

he probably doesn't even realize it, but i've really learned a lot from him over the years about djing ... just from observing, and listening.

kamal, he's the one in the 2nd pic. first dj was ross royal.

you bring it out of me....you are the queen you know.

Phillip - I'm sorry I missed you and your set..and that stinky Simon smell.

Megan's other known nickname is QUEEN BOOTY SHAKER. She has a habit of dropping the sexiest and funkiest house tunes at the right time and everyone's BOOTIES ARE ALWAYS A SHAKIN.

i posted up some sets in this thread:

A Few Mixes From Me - [ms]

http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58727

They are more on the deep house tip for the most part, but they all have a bit of a different feel to them. I think all the links should still work. If not, just let me know and I'll get it fixed. MEGAN DAVIS - CLOUD COVER (WINTER MIX - DEC 07) (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=M3AX2Y6I) tracklisting: 1. Vernon &

probably the most "booty shakin" one out of those would be Via De Luna Drive. it's an upbeat, summertime mix. Cloud Cover is a bit more moody, and Pensando En Ti is a bit more lovey, as i made it with someone special in mind.

i've actually been putting together a "QBS" mix in my head for a while that will be comprised of my more peak-time sound, but i have yet to actually lay it out.

and you really nailed it, phil! that is still one of my favorite mixes of the year and i play it all the time. with all the bad shit i had going on in my life earlier this year, i sort of put music on the back burner for a few months. not to mention a lot of the music had become stale to me in a way. and this mix really inspired me on several levels. thank you for that.
