due to the time change getting up early to there when they opened was no problem.got there at 6:40 am polls opened at 7am actually voted at 7:20 or so....i walked out feeling good knowing whatever my decision..I VOTED!....i now have the right to bitch if the wrong guy wins....and will be proud if my guy wins.....at least i know i did my little part to make america tick! -
usually, i tend to find myself on the more conservative side of issues... however this election, it was a mix up depending on the position.
kerry!

Down here the turnout among young voters has been absolutely amazing. As a matter of fact black voters outpaced everyone else in early voting. I certainly am hoping for 4 strong years as well. I'm sure they'll be as strong if not stronger than the 8 we had just a short while ago if the right guy is elected!Originally posted by chonkeyI'm a registered democrat and I voted for several republican candidates.. especially Senator John McCain for another strong yada yada
I don't know about turn-out... though there were plenty of young people there, many of them supporting obvious Kerry pins, shirts and buttons... I don't have faith in the kind of strong turn-out Kerry needs to pull off a victory, so (I'm not trying to start a flame war here lol) it'll probably be Bush. But I heard GOP lawyers were already trying to bar the results from some Pennsylvania voting machines
And I thought the republicans were the ones accusing there was gonna be legal battles right after the first polls end.Leave a comment:

Went well although I pride myself as being an open minded voter; therefore I never vote down party lines. To me there's no more true form of ignorance than not being able to think for one's self. That goes for Democrats that only vote Democrat and Republicans that only vote Republican. Ah, what the hell, this is gonna become a political debate so we might as well move it to the politics forum!
Cheers to everyone who voted though. Good job!Leave a comment:
