Vocals are tricky on prog tunes, and depending on when you got into prog, a lot of vocals some of us dig will sound cheesy to say people who got into prog when it was dark. If you went earlier back, tracks like Ultraviolet - Kites or even Morgan King's I'm free or Chakra - I am, Blue Amazon - When the rain falls or Perfecto - Not over yet will sound downright cheesy when held up to the deep prog or music today.

How about something more downbeat like Secondhand Satellites - Beautiful Strange? There's also Trentemoller - Moan?

Male vocals I'd suggest BPT - Moody, Morel - True (The Faggot Is You), 16B feat, Morel - Escape (Driving to Heaven) and anything with Quivver/Stoneproof on vocals. Not a lot of male vocals belong on prog tracks (Creamer n K's I Love You was uber cheese), but those ones do.

Oh just came across on youtube. Lexicon Avenue - From Dusk Till Dawn. Top notch production on that one even though the vocal is verging on cheese.

Sarah McLachlan - Fallen (Satoshi Tomiie interpretation) is a good one too

Evanescence - Bring Me To Life (Vsag & Andrew K remix)

Well, one thing´s for sure, I have my work cut out for the track selection!

Turns out I know most of these, but it´s been great remembering them, most of them are real classics. Some people like their prog vocal-less, and sometimes vocals can ruin a track, but I think all of these are great examples that it´s not always like that.

Oh and it doesn´t really matter if they´re new or not, this set is for someone who doesn´t listen to prog-house, so no hold-ups on that.

Fucking amazing. That and Science Dept. 'Breathe' and Freefall 'Skydive' would be my top 3. Not exactly new though

Infusion - Synesthesia was always one of my faves. What about PQM - The Flying Song?

And come on, no one suggested Skydive?! Lustral?! Silence?!?!?!?
