The problem with the Pioneer 100s is that the pitch control only gues to the tenths place, while on the better models (definitely on the 1000, I'm not sure about the 800) they go to the hundreths place. You'll be riding the pitch an awful lot with the 100s. That said, they are inexpensive and pioneer quality.Originally posted by rewing3I am also thinking about getting the new denon 1000. Guitar center actually hade one. They are pretty sweet. Kinda complicated to use though b/c there so small. But that goes with getting new decks though. Right now I have the stanton cd decks and they are shit. Just got them to start out with, now it is time to get soemthing better. I link the pioneer 100's also. Pionneer 100 have less effects but definetly easier to use. Tough choice either. Just try them for ur self and make the decision then.Comment

it's also the kind of cd player that is in quite a bit of clubs. As that was what people were using before the cdj-1000 came around. But because everyone was talking about the scratching with the cdj people forgot about the cmx-3000. But it too can scratch. But I don't so I won't need it.Comment
