Glass is horrible for your knives.

A well oiled and maintained wood block, Boos- I'll have it for life.

A little bacteria would probably do you more good than harm.

^ yea, I'm also not a fan of wood boards; they even say "grain so tight it's practically bacteria free" doesn't cut it for me I want to know for sure my board is bacteria free, so I've always used glass.

lol with smoke free i meant cigs (which i`m free for good hopefully) ... My relation with weed is mostly occasional and definitely not trying to cut off with it .. Im totally confortable with weed

Dunno about the tree's where you live, but ours is easily 8 ft+ tall. Not a job for my wife
