Me too... after all that was a total mind fuck! Yes the players should be able to put that behind and stay mentally strong.. but seriously... could have made all the difference.
The shittest showing by an England squad at a World Cup in all my time. They've played 4 times, in 3 of those games they have been beyond shite, in the other they won 1-0 against the smallest nation at the party.
Without wanting to take anything away from Germany's attacking verve, our shape was so poor it was the stuff of schoolboy matches.
We hope beyond hope for results and performances worthy of the players and their reputations but again we are disappointed. I've never seen a defensive performance as bad as that at the highest level, i really haven't....
