I really enjoyed this mix. It easily stands out from the rest of the recent Essential Mixes in my opinion. I liked the movie Moon so I didn't mind the sound clips; I thought they gave the mix a cool vibe. Yeah, concept mixes can be kind of unusual but I was feeling this one. Good job to Mr. Z.

That was one of his best mixes ever. When he was at the top of his game.

This mix however, is top shelf.

zabiela never fails to deliver. has he ever put out or recorded a dull mix? I submit that he has not.

Radio 1 on Friday's is a glorious way to end the week and begin the weekend.

Really nice to see some of you are enjoying this mix

I was worried as it was a bit rushed as I had the dreaded laptop fail whilst working on it, so it's not quite as it should be. If you like this you may like the new Renaissance CD I made I'm far happier with that as it wasn't rushed and my laptop worked hah!

Once it's run it's course on iPlayer. I'll upload the Essential Mix minus Radio 1 stuff - although they were quite respectful I felt with the jingles etc

Somehow this concept mix probably wasn't what fans were expecting I actually think this mix will date really well like Oakenfolds in 1997 and Danny Howells first full essential mix think it was 2001 with the Beatles in it and the clash just give it time and it will grow

i liked it, but didnt love it as much as i thought i might. That sometimes happens with these concept type mixes tho.....
