those 20 min beats are hot! I cant find them very downtempo but Im sure if you played that stuff later the floor would have shaken.
better luck next time, be sure it will be another one

^^^^ Thanks Feliti! Glad you liked it. For the competition mix I play the heavyier stuff with a good vibe to it.
Later in the nite I did a downtempo set with some warm-up house to give peeps a spot to chillout.

you could put an Emfire release on for 2 minutes and you would be a sleep before it finishes - Chunky

it's RA. they'd blow their load all over some stupid 20 minute loop of a snare if it had a quirky flange setting. - Tiddles

I was supposed to play last and like a moron I agree to play first when I got there and was asked to
Needless to say playing just after 10 when it is dead will not get as good a crowd response
versus playing at 11 or 11:30 when the place is starting to fill up.

Oh well it was still fun and I got to play a downtempo set upstaris in the chill area, while Cedric was tearing it up downstairs

I posted my 20 min competition mix on my soundcloud if you would like to check it out
I am happy with the way I played, just wish I would have won

And thanks to Eau for reminding me what track to play first after listening to his mix!
It's all good experience both in music and considering All the aspects. Good you had fun !! Keep loving it !!
