(Reuters) - An allergy and not anguish may explain why Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had her hand to her mouth while watching the commando operation to kill Osama bin Laden, she said on Thursday.

A photo of Clinton, President Barack Obama and other senior officials watching the operation live from the White House situation room has become one of the most striking images of the raid that killed the al Qaeda leader.

The photo shows Clinton with her hand to her mouth in what looks like a gesture of anxiety over the outcome of the operation.

"Those were 38 of the most intense minutes. I have no idea what any of us were looking at that particular millisecond when the picture was taken," she said on Thursday when asked about the photo during a visit to Rome.

"I am somewhat sheepishly concerned that it was my preventing one of my early spring allergic coughs. So it may have no great meaning whatsoever," Clinton added.

i put all my support behind the un, but their morale (imho) is just as strong as the iraqi military or afghan forces. and i wish they were more competent to execute such hard decisions... to thwart terror. so for the time being, the usa is main source; and of course we're going to look like the bad guy, around the world; because hell, the will to good is most definitely not goodwill or peace. gotta get 'er dunnn

Everything you said I disagree with to the fullest extent...
If the world functioned the way you seem to think it does ... half of the world with a PC would have navy seals dropping them in their sleep for the shit they have written or said at one point or another in their life. If I made a video claiming responsability for something...would that alone be enough for someone to come in and kill me???

the reason why the US don't drop navy seals into all the places u talk about is because its highly risky, not only buy doing more missions do u slowly but surely give away ur game plan of how u execute each mission but there is always a risk of a navy seal being captured and if u think water boarding is a hard torture its fucking nothing compared to what these guys would do to the captured seal to gain even the slightest of a little bit of info on how they work or info on a specific mission OR even for fun to torture the fuck out of the american forces by holding one of their elite hostage ( probably filming every second of it ) .. that's how these guys operate...knowledge is worth BILLIONS of $'s thats why so much money if flung in the way of services like the CIA and other intelligence agencies around the world, in sure groups like al qaeda would love even a small piece of that action as it would help their "cause"... like i said previously absolute and definite proof of who was responsible for all these attacks will be circling within trusted groups of people and probably will be shown as evidence to those that are somewhat trusted...they wouldn't just go and kill someone because "he said he done it" without this ultimate proof, its bad for business.

I will not fear anyone...if its my time to go its my time to go...and we all go at one time or another.

ok heres how i look @ it...although i,m just a member of the public in my country i know of just how brutally ruthless these guys are they are not exactly targeting government own businesses or buildings only, they basically just wanna take everyone and anyone out to create mass panic... u talk about a war on muslims well if u look at how these guys think they wage war on every single living person in the western world, this makes them feared the world over because they are a complete nightmare for each countries security...no one in power wants to see the killing of innocent people ( not even those guys fighting in iraq and Afghanistan ) ... if u look @ it this way also...you are walking down the street which has a crowd of people u walk past "a drug dealer" "a pedo" "a school teacher" "a devout christian"...point each one out to me!!!... u cant...without knowing which is which through knowledge its impossible unless these guys have a sign above their heads saying what they do...i cant imagine a member of al qaeda walking down the street with a big plaque saying "trained bomb expert for al qaeda" can u?... this brings me to the point of the pakistani ISI, kamal said something in the other thread about the ISI knowing thats osama was there, this is highly possible but at the same time could be misinformation, if they did know he was there i,m guessing they were fucking shitting themselves because they knew just how powerful and twisted al qaeda are and of course al qaeda could easily operate in pakistan without being detected ( almost like stealth....ever wondered why a stealth bomber is painted black and usually only flies @ night in war time ? )... if they didnt know then i,m guessing that u have completely missed out on the fact about just how fucking clever osama really was, surely the planning of 9/11 should testify to that!!!

The people I am worried about are those who brief the seals and tell them that killing xyz is justified because of abc. Those are the fucks to look out for...

The bottom line is that I am pissed as you rightly put it...but no I am not jumping on the conspiracy wagon...but then again I do not believe a single fucking thing i hear on the news...and I mean that literately. The same thing that navy seal said can be said about every single conflict the US was ever involved in...for example in 1999 when NATO bombed Belgrade i was watching CNN and BBC...mate BULLSHIT is the word of the day....these days...what I hear as news I take as a thing that definitely didn't happen and try to work out a likely line of events from there...i feel the same about this.
