Each to their own and etc, but none of the Live Ins have NOT been worth the money. I'm really looking forward to this one. Montreal was amazing.
i don't agree, normally i buy stuff and keep it in the factory seal as long as i can ( some twat can vouch for me on that one lol ) but recently i've been opening a lot of the stuff and listening to it for the first time, up until now i've kept the LIVE IN series fresh, i swear i'm not even sure what one it was but after listening to it for the first time i was almost convinced it wasn't even digweed it was that bad, i had to switch it off, it was terrible.
Output suits Digweed's sound so much that one would think they designed the system around him. The surrounding brooklyn area and rude crowds is another story though.
wow, really looking forward to this.
as i said before, the whole transitions/bedrock 10/structures phase didnt do anything for me, but i absolutely love his Live In series.
had a feeling it was gonna be NYC NYE output, kinda thought that last year, went to output 12/27/15, and once I seen he was playing at output NYE something told me to go....but couldn't make it.
looking forward to almost the complete set....again
Oh really? The sound at Output is good but Digweed's always talking it up on his show and it's just a ... club with wasted people.
yeah, I dunno.. my friend is just one of those know it all types when it comes to scene lol .. I mean, I do think that JD is pretty sensitive to the crowd's energy overall, I don't know if its really all that important to him. From personal experience, I can tell you that he struggles in San Francisco for whatever reason, and I usually blame the crowd lol
I hear you, he definitely feeds off the floor vibe and plays to the crowd. His sets always sucked in Singapore, but were amazing in Melbourne, and off the charts at Bedrock.

Oh. My. God. James absolutely obliterated the island tonight. The last time there was so much destruction, Obi Wan Kenobi had to take a seat on the Falcon after the Death Star said "hi and bye" to Leia's homeworld.
I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.
The first two cds of Montreal are epic,
Deep and groovy, I would like to hear
something similar with this one. if there are
five cds may be he start with something deep.
The hype around these "live in" cds is fun, although to be honest the only ones I still listen to are London and Montreal. Thought Argentina was just awful, not my sound at all, and the rest I listened to them for a while when they were new but they just never stuck. Maybe I should break them out again. I'll still buy Brooklyn though
Music is the answer, to your problems. Keep on movin', till you solve them.

I don't think we will ever hear that kind of slow build up again.. I really doubt he does this all that often as it requires a very specific setting. Even when he technically opened for him self at the Vagabond, it was never quite as slow as the first hour of the Montreal set.
It's really hard to enjoy any of these in a home setting. London CD1 and Montreal CD1-2 are the only ones out of the whole series that can be fully enjoyed at home imo.
Yeah, It was just an idea, if there are 5 cds,
we have like 6-7 hours or so, may be he start
with something housey at the beginning, not so deep,
I dont know really, it was just an idea and a wish.

I also like South Beach, I'm with you one Argentina though heard it once and then never again. Already ordered this one, really looking forward to it.
