It's a pity they could not feature on the Mixcloud too, even if it were Select and at a later point after Apple... I subscribed to his Mixcloud Select for the bunker sets

eh, the second one is okay but i liked the bunkers so much more. these don't sound live at all, i'd guess they were mixed on the computer.

oh well, at least live music is back in some places

So, John always harps on about using the Mixcloud platform, because they pay the artists royalties... but now he's also using Apple Music.. I wonder how much they pay the artists royalties.

Think it's just another revenue stream for ole Johnny. At least the audio quality is acceptable.

So what are these then - studio mixes that have had a bit of thought put into them, or just a couple of hours of tunes put together as if it was a Transitions mix/

(I don't mean that John doesnt put any thought into sets obviously, just querying if these are a bit more 'official' than a radio set)

Liking 2, need to relisten to mix 1. I do love that David Morales & Mr. V - Everyday Of My Life track, its really groovin.

I appreciate mix 2 its a sample of his US tour. I wished I had went to Houston to see him this month on the 7th, which popped up only 2 weeks before. I instead went to New Orleans the same night because I had tickets to see The Crystal Method. I had bought those 2 month before, then we get there and the damn show was cancelled. Big waste, could have possibly gone to see John.

The problem is that there are so many different platforms, the cost starts to mount up. It is no different with sports on TV, or TV and Movie channels. People start to get fed-up with paying for so many different platforms, particularly if they are not using them that often. I recently found a series on Apple TV that I wanted to watch. I had only just cancelled my Apple subscription as I also have Netflix, Amazon, Sky etc, but to watch six episodes in the series, I would have had to subscribe another £5 a month, so in the end, I just said fuck it and watched it illegally.

The first compiled and mixed is a big fav of mine!!!! Ive listened to it a few times now and i really like it, the problem is you HAVE to subscribe to apple music, you cant just purchase it on its own, and that is annoying because im not really using apple music much.
