    Release Notes:

    01. Sasha & James Teej - Night Track (M.A.N.D.Y. Remix) (Bring On The Night EP) [Last Night On Earth | LNOE004]

Sashaʼs Last Night on Earth imprint returns this March with the ʻBring on The Nightʼ collaboration between the man himself and hotly tipped Canadian James Teej, backed with a remix from the irrepressible M.A.N.D.Y.

Thereʼs little that can or needs to be said about Sasha. A dj/producer who has seen and done it all while constantly keeping his finger firmly on the pulse of electronic music, Sasha is a genuine legend who never puts a foot wrong.

James Teej, while a relative newcomer compared to his partner for ʻBring on The Nightʼ, Teej is no rookie and has an impeccable pedigree himself. A debut LP for Rekids, output for No.19 Music, My Favorite Robot Records, Rebirth, Supernature and Perspectiv as well as remixes for the likes of Toby Tobias, Adultnapper, Trentmoller and Kenny Glasgow have made him one of the most in demand producers/vocalists around.

ʻBring on The Nightʼ comprises two original cuts that see the Sasha/Teej collaboration shine. ʻNight Trackʼ gradually unrolls from a ponderous, stripped beat track to a modulating, distorted beauty that balances grit and weight with airy yet encompassing melodies and vocals.

Teejʼs distinctive vocals take prominence on second cut, ʻAs You Fallʼ, but fluttering arpeggios, resonant keys and an enormous, rich Moog bass all play considerable parts with both artists applying their musical skill in spades.

Finally, M.A.N.D.Y distil the melodies of ʻNight Trackʼ into a staccato, bottom heavy lead while the vocals are teased throughout alongside a myriad of nagging key flourishes and rhythmic effects.

    02. Mescis - Lately (Tim Penner Remix) [Hype Muzik | 083-HM]

02 Mescis - Proper Heat Remix

03 Mescis - Tim Penner Remix

04 Mescis - Nomad In The Dark Remix

05 Mescis - Nomad In The Dark Ambient Path

A progressive adaptation of Mescis - Lately. This track features a deep bouncing bass line, a smooth flowing melody, and a sample of the stunning vocals of the original. [Tim Penner]

Tim Penner has been working in electronic music for over a decade. His experience has taken him on a journey through every beautiful corner of the industry. His productions have graced the track lists of the world's leading artists and have geared him up towards a huge year in 2012. Tim seamlessly blends ideas, twists sound, and manipulates frequencies to create a mind bending style that stems from Techno, House, and Trance. To classify his work into a specific genre can be a challenge.

Tim's track, "Misuto" was picked up by Arnej Music in September 2011 for a massive global compilation CD called "Musical Evolution". This opportunity unleashed a whirlwind of originals and remixes in 2011. Since this release, Tim has signed on with Stripped Recordings, Replug, Blockhead Records, Fine Grind, and Hyped Music to name just a few.

    Label: Hype Muzik
    Release Date: Mar 20 2012

    03. Li-Polymer - Voices And Visions [unreleased]

Li-Polymer returns to Resident after 'Supernatural' was broadcasted a couple of weeks back on 042. No release info on this music as yet.

Fabio Pereira is Li-Polymer [Balkan Connection | System Recordings | Underground City Music], a Portuguese producer/dj from Madeira that has been gaining a place in the international production of electronic music.

He's genre is directed to deep house, with strong tendencies to progressive house. Dedicated to the art of musical construction for several years, started to release his first release by the german Plusquam Division and has been signing contracts with other label's such as the acclaimed Balkan Connection (Proton Radio's family) and Liquid Grooves, two international electronic music and recognised for all the fans of the music industry, and such more independent label's.

    04. Fiord & Simon Flower - High Tail (Tripple Edit) [Progress Tunes | PTU004]

Progress Tunes is a Swiss/Indian progressive techno label run by Santosh Khan (City Lights Music) from Zurich/Mumbai. High Tail received an initial release in Sept 2011 and included a Jamie Stevens remix.

Fiord are New Zealand brothers Barton & Hayden Strom, who are also studio partners and seasoned producers whose achievements to date encompass 4 albums, a fruitful international touring career and an array of heavyweight productions spread across their three monikers Fiord, Antix and Triangle.

They team up with fellow Kiwi Simon Flower [Poker Flat | Moon Harbour | Dessous] from Aukland, who also runs a new label, Nurture.

    05. Patrick Siech & Gustav Söllscher - Flogiston (The Watch Receiver EP) [Truesoul | TRUE1235]

Patrick Siech & Gustav Söllscher come together for Truesoul’s latest exploration into the deeper realms of techno. Collaborators since 2004, much of the pair’s earlier cooperation’s focused on the raw dynamics of Acid and Chicago House. The roots of this natural, free-flowing, open-minded approach can be heard both in terms of the simplicity of the sounds employed and the variety of moods covered on The Watch Receiver EP. Compiled throughout 2010 and 2011, the overall feel of the EP focuses on hypnotic soundscapes and drawn out arrangements exemplified by the deep space elasticity of Carrier Wave; the haunting, glitchy grooves of 14MHz; Siech’s own Number Nine cut with its cavernous sounding delayed chords; and the rolling, mystical deepness of Flogiston.

    06. Hot Chip - I Feel Better (Max Cooper Remix) [FLASH Recordings | FLASH027]

Hot on the heels of remixing Royksopp, Dapayk&Padberg, Juan MacLean, Crimea X Florian Meindl has been asked to remix Hot Chip's massive 'I Feel Better'. The result is a nine-minute floor-rocking sonic slayer with huge breaks and deep, Meindl-style bass. It received massive Ibiza support by the Hot Chip DJs and has been rinsed by Florian, to great response worldwide.

It is now available on a special FLASH 500-run limited edition vinyl that includes a remix by UK electronica whiz Max Cooper - also a prolific remixer, whose recent and upcoming remixes include the Wombats, Au Revoir Simone, and one of the world's best-known film-soundtrack composers, Michael Nyman.

Supported by Hot Chip DJs, Sander Kleinenberg, Wally Lopez, Kaiserdisco, Stephan Bodzin, Laurent Garnier, Coyu and many more.

    07. Rodriguez Jr. - Bittersweet (Sebastian Radlmeier Remix) [Mobilee Records | MOBILEE089]

After the huge success of Rodriguez Jr.'s debut album "Bittersweet" we have two follow up remixes from techno man of the hour Christian Smith and Paso's Sebastian Radlmeier aka Sebrok.
