Re: megaupload taken down?
I get very little stuff copyrighted. My stuff never get taken down, they even let me keep the copyright stuff, just can't share. I had long talks with them at one stage and they were quite good to deal with. I was a very early adopter with them.
But yeah, I know what you mean about DCMA policy.Leave a comment:

Re: megaupload taken down?
it's good but i can't deal with uploading a mix to share only to find out that a bot has blocked me from sharing a link because there is a 10 second clip of a song in a 64 hour mix that conflicts with its dmca policy ( over exaggerated slightly to prove a point )Leave a comment:

Re: megaupload taken down?
I dont get why soundcloud deletes mixes, most local djs use soundcloud to post their mixes and don't have permission for all the tracks. Neither do 98% of DJ's out there. But I guess if they buy or download their track, that's permission enough. I still have heard of stuff being taken down for less. Had a buddy that did an all Logistics mix and they made him take it off the internet period so it wouldn't confused others. Kinda silly. I think its a great marketing tool if you have a DJ that wants to do a tribute mix to a favorite producer that puts out banging tunes.Leave a comment:
