You mean, "Resident: two years of oakenfold at cream", right ???

I think I still love this comp.

Oakenfold's GU Oslo wasn't recorded Live either (even though it says it was on the sleeve notes). There are many other examples, but you will find most commercial release live CD's have had tracks removed and edited before the CD went on sale. Don't suppose you have any of the Kiss broadcasts C ?

Wasn't Oakeys GU Tape set recorded live at Twilo ?

If the audio is edited and some tracks are cut out can it still be called live??

No, the fabric cd isn't live and the essential mix either. They are both retrospectives of live sets, but thats what I mean if the mix was edited and tracks were cut out I think he would've of mentioned it.

The sleeve note at the end says "Recorded live at tres aguas, Córdoba, Argentina 07/01/12"

I'm fairly sure that Fabrc CD wasn't mixed live. Its more likely to be a retrospective of a gig that took place in fabric like most of the Global Underground releases. I would be very surprised if he had pointed out that he had edited some tracks out. I would also be surprised if he had managed to clear every track in a + 2 hour mix without some sort of licensing issues.

Garnier did not do something similar with his Excess luggage CD, the Excess Luggage CD was 5 totally unrelated mixes put out and I'm not sure any of them were live mixes most were retrospective mixes of past event

I did say that the Garnier one were different mixes (now I see I wrote they were live). I used it as an example because some people thought it would be to expensive to put out a 5 CD set.

On the sleeve notes he pointed out that it only contained 3 CDs because he thought that to sell all 5 discs at once would be to expensive, so he made the decision to sell the other two CDs separately. I think this is something Digweed should do in this case, if someone wants the whole recording he/she can go out and buy the rest of the Mix if she/he wishes to and not be stuck with a glimpse of what Digweed thought was an amazing gig.

I think a Córdoba 2 with the rest of the set would make all of us happy.
