in 2010 he gave us MOS and fabric, in 2011 womb & panorama bar....
3-4 hrs each set in hq. quality over quantity, besides i much prefer these sets than a weekly radioshow

C'mon ... Diggers has shared music 52 weeks a year for the past 12 years. Naturally he's got a right to decide what he releases and to have the level of control he desires.

The CD marketplace has changed ... he's consolidated his label and this benefits the artists/producers involved .. and the label which flourishes.

Also, while some people like things pumped up & banging ... will the non [ms] crowd appreciate this ?

Fact is, its one thing being in a club after a few drinks (or more) and a set it built to destroy mode with you're going nuts .... it's a far more different situation at home putting a CD on at home in the afternoon.

^^^all great ideas, i just wish there was someway he would be able to release the real stuff on a live cd for purchase. copyright nonsense baffles me.

to tell u guys the truth, after listening to the mini mix i knew i wasn't gonna buy this.

he does still often have great releases on his label though, guy j elements was just phenomenal, and i loved all his structures

Maybe he should just set aside some time and release a proper 2 or 3 CD studio mix. Those seldom disappoint. A new Renaissance or Transitions or even Balance from him would be stellar.

cordoba set is a big disappoint...

tbh if he would have released it for free on transitions i would have been unhappy with it, now charging people for it is a whole new level of disappointment....

seriously most people are willing to pay even more but give us quality and what we actually need and thats def not the first 2hrs, id like to see him release vagabond from 2010 or 11 and thats after 3hrs in and up...

Plenty of love for disc 1 on this release, which is understandable, but not many comments about disc 2?
Could this be cos it is a little bit underwhwhelming? After a few listens i find that the first 8 tracks are a bit of a dullathon, doesn't really kick off til Alljacks - Carlita. Suspect this might be a grower, like a lot of diggers mixes

On another note, i have recently been enjoying the 3hr circus set (thanks to sbando), the 3rd hour is phenomenal.

he will never release those special sets in the peak hours like at vagabond. which sort of sux. u have to go see him live.

like the one chap said most of the live sets are a bit of a cock tease, lol. but i get what he means, u are never going to be fulfilled. never a high quality recording. that 2010 beruit has great tracks but the audio is not real good.

thats what is kool about sasha ever so often he will release lengthy 320 kb sets w/o flinching.

I partially agree with you.. after what i witnessed/heard @ Vagabond back in March its very hard to listen to this, because you just know there was soo much more to it...

Still a great mix, I've been listening to it for a week now.. liking cd1 more.
