You kinda need to download the music if you're carrying it around with you on the commute.

I stream mixes on the commute via soundcloud. So I guess it all depends.

If it's a mix I really enjoy, then I download it.

I still like to download all my mixes and save it on my own personal hdd.

The cloud is great and all... but you never know when it will all get blown to smithereens.

It'd be cool if they all go up on SC and they're accessible from anywhere, and have the SC player embedded into the existing archive threads.

I'm still volunteering, I spent hours and hours on the artists database, I'm willing to do that too, unless Kamal & co. lost their interest (see lack of moderation in other sections) and that's a different story.
