    Re: Live in ?

its gonna be just like a transitions radio show but 80min mix from different venues in the same area

my friend that was at all the shows in argentina isn't looking forward to this at all...saying it will do NO justice for vibe/atmosphere of those nights!

looking forward to a 4hr set....

If the Live series continues (and I can't see why it won't) I'd expect another 4 x CD set from a single date at some point.

Given this is from the same box of music, best to trust Diggers judgement on what sounds best here.

John Digweed preps Live In Argentina

John Digweed will release a four-disc mix called Live In Argentina on December 9th.

It's the fourth edition in Digweed's Live In... series, following previous selections from Cordoba, London and Slovenia. As with those outings, Live In Argentina will see release on Digweed's own Bedrock Records. The mix is comprised of recordings from shows the UK selector played in Rosario and Buenos Aires in September this year—the two gigs attracted a combined crowd of 14,500 and saw Digweed play for more than 12 hours. A total of 53 tracks are spread across four discs, with the likes of Tiga, Audion, Jimpster, Martin Buttrich, Dan Curtin, Deetron and Slam all featuring. In addition to a four-disc CD, selected tracks from Live In Argentina will also see release across five 12-inches. There will also be a bonus DVD containing footage from the two shows. because its more to show for your money than simply buying a wav/mp3, plus usually its also cheaper on places like amazon than buying on beatport etc if you don't buy straight away

I'm a CD junkie at heart. I just prefer being able to skip tracks, or just listen to one particular track at a time. Can't do that with a 75 min continuous mix.

Agreed. Shit, it's one of the better cds I own. Hoping Argentina makes up for Slovenia.

Ordered this within an hour of it being announced, £14.49 delivered to my door is a ridiculous price for what you get, kudos to Digweed for continuing this series.
