    Live in classics series....

the logistics behind licencing tracks might become a nightmare though.

In general though, as we all might have seen in interviews, Digweed is about playing good new tracks

Really fascinating how the Digweed brand has evolved. I wonder if this was always in the works when he started Bedrock. That would've been one helluva foresight.

Who'd have thought a DJ would go from being beholden to a label, putting out comps on Renaissance, MOS, Jackpot, and GU to a one-man empire with his own label which is not uncommon but a radio show and his own Live In comps.

Google says he's worth 45 million.

Thinking about it I do wonder if he should give more time and space to showcase the artistes on Bedrock and let them do some comps to bring up the next generation.

As I was reading your post I was entertaining the thought that he might do a "live in" with one of the bedrock artists or guest dj...a couple discs each to get a real vibe..eg Live in with xx with Guy J...or even something like Danny Howells' warm up set that was on electronic groove...

but as tiddles said..as long as these keep getting released

I would like to see him bring out the older stuff, I'm sure in his oracle of a HDD he has some belters out there. All it would need is remastering and pressed into vinyl. When Bedrock was at Heaven, now that would be wicked. Or even a rare Twilo delight.

I do not care for your new treats, bring me your vintage chateau.

Provided there are no technical difficulties, we can only hope... the 2 hours he broadcast from the 2009 Vagabond WMC were very, very good

We might get some Pacha-recording in the Transitions during the next two weekend. Unless John plays two 2 hour best of 2013-mixes. I know he's going to do at least one this year.

There was a cafe mambo set but that is it for the ibiza season just passed.
Perhaps .. there were a 13 Pacha dates, 4 Mambo's, a Tox Cub and Sunset Cruise to pick from for Summer 2013.

Fingers crossed .. the latter two were fantastic.

The more I listen, the more I like.

I think that some of us here had concerns about it being from two different venues/nights, but now that I've listened to the whole album twice I think that it works in it's favor. I don't know if all 4cd were from the same place it would've been as diverse as this.. it would've been more like London.

Also.. i think all of these Live ins should be played at high volume and maybe remove some furniture in the room

Loving the Argentina release - culmination of a summers worth of great music plus some excellent new releases + the extended set and Argentinian crowd.

By WMC there should be another great batch assembled plus Bedrock's 2014 arsenal in full flow
