So the messylove-birds are most likely standing in penn station waiting for their train home, and its the puerto-rican day parade today, so the station is full full full of well behaved, never rowdy, parade-goers and two hungover-in last night's clothes-MS'rs that couldnt wait 10 minutes to ask if they could do the freaky deaky in my bed /and pass out after or during..... and force me to do laundry on the lord's day...

had kamal made it up here, we might not have had this gift of a glorious,juicy,point and laugh, dirty little secret that will still be fun to bring up for decades to come

Madoka is an old friend of mine and yes he lives here in NYC, and he remixed a Pole Folder track or two and they have had an ongoing artistic relationship of sorts long distance and so last night was the first face to face meeting for us all, and Pole folder's first time in NYC, he was jazzed and very refreshingly down to earth and a real good guy on top of musical genius... umkay?

POLE FOLDER THE SEQUEL

Night two blew me out of the water, I feel like it was double coupon day at the music karma market, and then I won both showcases on the Proce is Right...

In brief.... Killer location, Opus 22, not very well known... the crowd maxed out at 15 TOTAL (we were there 10pm - 430am) but let's just say that the set could have brought a crowd of 10,000 to its knees begging for more... but instead, we got it as intimate as it gets, 5 of us for the last 2 hours or so... Mikey's got a dilemma of a new favorite contender, WOW

I had talked to PF the previous night for a few minutes and he was real cool and down to earth, but it was so loud at that venue that I couldn't hear for shit and so talking at length was futile...

I walked in the door this time and he jumps off a couch and walks right up to me and says Hi again, and we proceed to chat for over a half an hour about this that and everything it seems. What a amazing person this guy is I must say, there are few things anywhere near wonderful as meeting one of your most admired artists, and finding yourself even more blown away and respectful of who they are as a human being, let alone musical robot.... WOW again.... Nights like this one remind me and re-solidify how amazing and powerful music can be, and still is (or can be)... Thank you's to Madoka for the intro, and to Beniot for music that brought tears to my eyes and to this wonderfully peaceful state of satisfaction I now sit in...
