Even Soundcloud links can be less obvious, GarryX - just to name one- always comes up with great new names.

Besides great new names (which is a fact), even obvious SC links for example Nick Warren´s are welcome for me, i like to read feedback from MS members.. imo its not only about rare or exclusive stuff, i want the whole thing

What made Soundcloud great was also its demise. They unceremoniously kicked the dance people out.

This is why I have strong anger towards them, the dance comunity Is what made them

i see your point. but for some time, SC became my music source no_1 - while it has been [MS] before....with SC going shite and no alternatives being weak as well, its even more important to keep forums like ours alive imo...

before soundcloud - when chunky posted a new sasha set he found (like the 96 atlanta set) - those were the days....incredible

then SC came and the p+r forum somehow lost it^^

C. still posts rare stuff from time to time. And I'm not even mentioning the crate of live sets that he ripped for Danny Howells. Last year I posted a set by Nick Warren that wasn't available anywhere else. Even Soundcloud links can be less obvious, GarryX - just to name one- always comes up with great new names.

But all in all there's not much activity in P&R. I don't get it: free, no ratio, friendly posters (for the most part, lol). I know for a fact that a few djs still read the forum. Cons: MS does need to be streamlined, in my opinion. Also, let's bring back SOME of the posting rules, now it's a mess.

not really, none of the sets are direct on here anyway. All links. What special is the buzz. I trust a buzz on mercury over a top whatever list any day. Also look at the love, special place and thanks for those who keep at that way.
