Words cannot express how much I loathe that cover version of Escape (Driving To Heaven). Generic, irritating, female vocal, backing track that adds nothing to the original. But maybe that's just Dubfire's remix. I've no desire to find out by listening to Moscoman's original version.

Hour one is great though.

I have just noticed on John's Mixcloud page, his latest Transitions, a recording from 2002.. it's got a HQ badge - "This is a high quality upload".

Could it be, Mixcloud have finally pulled their finger out?

Excellent. Is there any way to verify what quality it's streaming on mobile devices? Listening on my iPhone, to my ears I sense a vast improvement, but I'm curious if it's just me, or is actually so.

In any case, this is excellent news. Hopefully Soundcloud will follow suit.

I don't know how to check the audio quality on cell phone...but i think it's the same though...not so sure about that (IMHO).

Listening to Anthony Pappa NYD in Sydney, it's definitely better quality than usual, so I'm comfortable to say it's the same as web browsers.
