I won't be back until next Tuesday, so if Get Carter is the correct answer, I would appreciate of someone else posts a new cap for meComment

^^^ i have had to remind myself that he opens the night, so I would imagine there is a good bit of warming up. I have only been able to listen to the first two tracks so far.
I ended up buying the digital version too, mainly because it will take a while to actually arrive from the UK.
Tomorrow I should be able to listen to it all.
Its just a feeling....gonna take you higher....Comment

On the 3rd disc now and its pretty excellent. Defintiely a mix that is heavy on the House side of the spectrum...as Digweed tends to be.
The whole mix starts off mellow, again he does open the night but so far I would call it a masterclass in house music with a new york feel.
It actually reminds me of a bunker sessions set, which isnt bad.
Also I am glad he has stopped being so techno heavy in this decade. Its just a feeling....gonna take you higher....Comment

Part 3 is amazing. Lots of vocal house tracks that give me an early 90's feeling.
Nice.
I haven't listened to the other three discs yet.
I hope they're as good.Comment

^^^agreed, love the old school feel in part 3
Stopped at part 4, will listen to that today, then probably start it from the beginning and try to listen in full.
Update, almost done with part 4....
I like the mix, especially for what it is. Its John playing new york house, opening for Danny Tenaglia. John really does vary depending on the venue or city or crowd. In this case, he plays at pretty slow bpm, like Tenaglia does. This probably the most noticeable thing to me, especially on certain tracks I am used to hearing faster. I dont mind this because it is deliberate and I believe he was going for this very New York kind of thing. All in all however, I like it quite a bit. Now bring on NE Redux
Also, I am stii curious as to when he played Wavespeech, was it after Van Bellen or was it edited out somewhere in the middle?
Guessing this is a licensing issue?Last edited by progressive420; 1 day ago.Its just a feeling....gonna take you higher....Comment
