sorry no pics to post, but lemme paint a picture for you. 33" of snow in a little over 24 hours. imagine the snow banks left by the plows at roughly 3-4ft tall. then the large piles of snow that got piled up by the trucks are anywhere from 6 to 12ft tall. those mounds are gonna take years to melt. as of now its all still a pretty white blanket, but give it a day or two. we are gonna be stuck in a gooshy sloshy mess for weeks.

Yeah, no large puddles to jump over today, but the puddles of slush in manhattan get mighty nasty... tomorrow should be a hoot

wow. great pics guys and thank you for sharing. really neat to have a story behind them.

in oregon, we plan to have a nice bit of Hudson Bay weather at the end of this week. nothing like your records of snow, but damn cold. so the west may get a little blast as well.

ill post some pics later on when i get home. we have 3-4 ft drifts in our area. Never mind the piles the plows made.

Total snow was about 20 inches i think outside our house.

here in buffalo every winter is like this, so we're used to it. i remember a few years ago we got 7-8 FEET in 2 days. the city was in crisis. 12 ft. snowbanks on each side of the road. it was maddness. let's just say the snowboarding was good.......!

its gonna be -27C here on thursday...thats -16.6F without the windchill.
