I installed the SP2 beta release candidate first...had no problems besides switiching the Security Center off which took me a few minutes to figure out how. As I am lazy I have the automatic updates for Windows enabled (which I will do NEVER again) and last week I came back to my PC and Windows installed SP2 full version again! on my PC. Since then I had a new connection windows in my task bar stating that it has reduced connectivity...no clue what this was about. Worst thing was that I got disconnected from website surfing after beeing 2 hours online....well I was still connected to the Internet and Soulseek or FTP worked still but no MSN and surfing possible, couldn't contact one site. After a reboot everything was fine for 2 hours more than the trouble began again....had to reinstall Windows XP to get rid of this shit. Thank you so much Microsoft for the great updates you publicize.

SP2 is working perfectly for me and I didn't even have to do a clean install.

I like SP2!

I use Opera so IE doesn't bother me; the firewall is running in the background and doesn't disturb me either.

dude, its the worst piece of shitt ever!!!

even after doing a clean install and loading SP2 first it won't work right with all the applications etc... Now I have to wipe my system the second time in 2 weeks, BLOWSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

the firewall wasn't screwing me too much. i had it disabled. haven't had problems with the service pack pretty much til the pop up blocker and that download block started frustrating me like no other.

took me like 45 minutes to figure out how to turn off the info bar from preventing downloads. damn them bastarts at microsoft.
