Part of my old job would be parking enforcement, I would go out of my way to ticket assholes who think its okay to park in a hadicapped spot and so would every other person on the the force. Its not about the guy writing the ticket having a napolean complex, its about you not having respect for others. You rolled the dice and lost, so man up and pay your fine.

In the UK the orange disabled badges were being stolen from cars and sold for several £hundred because of exorbitent parking fees/fines !
It cost me £20 (circ. $40) to park in Leeds the other week (fortunately my employer picked up that tab !).sigpicSimonR
