Re: What book are you reading now?
if you really wanna learn about the nature of music, or more to the point the nature IN music. You'll wanna read Victor Wooten's book, "The Music Lesson...A spiritual search for growth through music" Such an amazing book about what you would never learn in a music class and what is so essential to learning about music. This book is for the beginner as well as the seasoned professional.
Enjoy.
to let everyone know more about this book check this out. You can read the introduction and part of the first chapter to wet your senses and help to begin to open them back up.

Finished 'G33k Mafia' and loved the story. First book that I know released under the Creative Commons Licence, so that mean you can have it for free here. Or you can have a paper version via the EFF website for 10 USD.
A sequel also exist, G33k Mafia - Miles Zero. Also available for free.Leave a comment:

Aldous Huxley- Brave New World..
very real book.. when the book was written in the early 40's, the ideas in place for cloning were all too far fetched.. i tell ya, Huxley must of took a trip into the future, because back then cloning wasn't even much of a thought much less a possibility...Leave a comment:

Re: What book are you reading now?
freakonomics was good.
celestine prophecy was really good, if yer into that sort of thing. Did anyone read all 3 of that series though? I thought the 2nd and 3rd were weak, I was disappointed.
Stranger in a Strange Land, I re-read that every so often just so I don't forget.Leave a comment:
