^^^ Agree with that. Why should they get free advertising.?? I agree totally with exclusivity periods. But to totally ban all frisky downloads which would seem to preclude the artist themselves from uploading a mix, is total BS!! In fact I am quite angry for the way this restricts artists as well!!

I can see where this is hard for you Shiva, and I understand your "Piss nobody off" mantra! Frisky should have no right to put you in this position.

The really silly thing is there are so many sites that will have Frisky mixes up. It's only punishing the responsible sites. There are better ways to handle this.

They are also going the wrong way!!

quite frankly, since frisky has given set sharing on ms (and everwhere else) the boot, i'd like to see all frisky spam disappear from this site - no matter who it's from.

As an MCast resident & team member I have the pleasure to inform you that I will be teaming up, once again, with [Sudam Recordings] in a new show called "Ritual Sounds" on friskyradio airing every LAST wednesday of the month @ 9AM PST starting this June the 25th.
This show is a "flat" show, which means that I won't have guests on the show but instead a co-partner and sudam artist: Dj/prod Rasti Tkac (Slovakia) who has been my guest on a previous show on MCast. The genre of music played is purely progressive (and dark from my part).

NB: Thank you frisky fans for the request of the show, and my greatest appreciation to frisky team for making that happen.

Now, in relation to the Frisky/MS issue referred to in this following thread:

It is obvious that some might think that there is a conflict of interest in my case since I am resident in both sites now, so allow me to expose my thoughts on this and clarify things from my own point of view, as a growing artist in this EDM industry:

It is NOT to piss ANYONE off, I fully understand each point of view of both sides, and I respect and abide to both houses' rules and regulations with all humbleness:

I am an artist and I deal with all this EXCLUSIVELY as an artist.
Which means that I will stick to my own duties in all this, and see it from an artist perspective ONLY. I care about making good quality sets and provide listeners with what they are looking for, and therefore share it with whoever wants to listen no matter where this maybe whether this it is on MCast/Frisky, in heaven or in hell, within the LEGALITY and PEACEFUL way of doing things.

So I found my own "legal" door, my own side of dealing with all this, again from the artist side that is:
I am referring here to some specific rules, as follows:

I - FRISKY RULES:

1. By a member of the friskyRadio staff.

II - FRISKY RULES:

Normally, and this goes for ALL music sites, an artist is bound by exclusivity to the site for a period that varies from 1 to 2 weeks, including frisky. And here I am ready to give an extra 1 or 2 weeks of exclusivity (to make sure everyone is satisfied), but at the end of this not all fans follow 1 specific site. And if a listener doesn't reach a session of mine he is looking for, for a reason or another, then I will make it available to him, in a way or another, sooner or later.

Users can't post frisky links here, and that is more than clear now. But I am an artist working on both sides, and legality is not sanctioning me in anyway is this case;
I am almost certain that if I was in a courtroom the judge would look at this and give me credit. But since I am in front of the people here, I would like your opinion on this before I move forward on this issue... So please don't hesitate to share your opinion coz I would like to listen to what you, as a listener and MS member think, including the Chiefs Tom & Kamal, and also frisky if he shows up.

(Please lets keep the comments within the limits of respect towards the concerned people and organizations in this thread. I am not trying to increase tension between the parties but instead expose my own thought as a growing artist. I am sorry to tell you that I will be using my modo priviledge to delete any offensive comments on this thread: NO TRASHING whatsoever)
