The music was sick, so i am not complaining, just saying its enjoyable to watch Diggweed and the likes work the decks and board.....although at times I worry Carl Cox is going to fall through the floor the way he jumps around.
He's much more interesting since he gave up smoking Just watch his hands , he has this wonderful delicate touch, he does move a little more now, and he keeps checking the crowd out which is a really good thing. He is tuned to what the crowd wants, rather than putting on a show! I don't like a Dj that isn't crowd responsive.

The turntablists are fun to watch, but I'm there for the music and that is where Hernan delivers better than anyone else on the planet.

Btw . I've seen Digweed three times and last time I saw him I made the comment that although the music was great he would have been just as happy if we weren't there.

Chuckc, Johns is just trying to stir me up.

And Johns, what makes you think I haven't already got the vids!! [Truthfully I don't and I am very happy to see them ]

We need to come up with a top 10 Hernan and MG essentials ... that'd cause some debating !

Jeff Mills is a fucking machine. He doesn't even need to move, the arms stretch over 4 decks

Yup, that´s what I´m talking about

I can totally understand some people liking DJ´s that put on more of a show but personally I don´t really care, and actually I think lots of people would agree that Digweed doesnt move much while playing, the guy is a smooth assassin or someone like Jeff Mills, I think that if the Terminator ever became a DJ, he´d be Jeff Mills.

Hernan is only about the music, he is always focused on the decks and his mixes and set building are superb. He may not interact with the crowd like DJs such as Carl Cox but the music is entirely on a different level imo.

btw this is the set im talking about:

I did, last year here in Lisbon, in a small venue and for a small crowd, I could stand just a few feet away from him and at the same height and all, I´d say he´s technically the best DJ I´ve seen live so far, unbeliveably smooth mixing, and a master with track selection and set building. Only thing better I´ve ever seen was S&D at Rock In Rio this year.

If he was called Henirich Cattanenberg people would be all over him at the moment.
