Re: DJ Mag top 100 2004
It wuoldn't be so surprising that he finished 8th if there were only cheeeeeesssyy tiesto-likes above him - they simply play to a bigger audience and the number of people that hear a dj play is what counts here. The amazing thing is that Hernan is 6th! It's not that I don't like him or sth but he still has got many years of hard work to join diggers where he is... The problem with Digweed is that he is too consistent - he's ALWAYS very good. People say it was Hernan's year or Zabiela's year - but nobody says it was diggers' year because EACH year is his year. He never disappoints. That's why I think some people, even when they think John is the best, vote for some other djs above him - just because somebody surprised them positively. Diggers does not surprise anybody. Everybody knows he's quality. -

Amen on that brotha!! Just awful.Originally posted by rewing3What a bunch of shit. Tiesto wins again. All I wan to know is how the hell digweed finished 8th. he is a hundred times better dj then the top three all combined together. I guess that is what he gets for spinned good music and not shitty trance to the mass.Leave a comment:

Re: DJ Mag top 100 2004
This list is a fucking nonsense
Congratulations for Hernan for his #6 spot - it was truly his year, when I heard him live recently, I was really impressed with the way he developed his style/dj skills
His case also proves one thing - if u want to score well on dj mag list, it really pays of to have your sets/radio shows shared on the net. There was a shitload of hernan's stuff on the net this year, so people could get a grip of his music.
And Zabiela is not in the top 10, wtf?Leave a comment:

I should have voted a couple hundred more times.
No Lee Burridge.
No Lee Coombs.

All I can say is quality has gone underground again! Delighted to see Hernan at 6.
After this I wouldn't be surprised if Tiesto won a Grammy!Leave a comment:

The 'Next 150' is released on 12 November:Originally posted by psyrelI want to see #101 - 200. It's usually up on the site a few weeks after. Those are the djs that include the up + comers, the hot new talent, who didn't have a multitude of rabid fans but still managed to impress enough people to get their vote. I'm sure a lot of names we haven't seen yet will be on that list.
... will definitely be more interesting.Leave a comment:
